Granville High School senior, Zoe, met up with me in September for one of my favorite senior sessions of the school year! They chose three outfits that worked perfectly on them AND provided nice variety in the final gallery. The Fall backdrop provided by Inniswood was just what we needed to bring this vision to life! Granville, Ohio isn’t too far from Westerville, and they spent some of their childhood roaming this park with their sister. How fun is that to come back for their senior session!? I love when locations have special meaning.

This photo against the fence quickly became a family favorite – and one of mine! They just look so amazing and happy in this photo and it makes me smile every time!
Senior Pictures with Sketch Pad and Drawing
Zoe had mentioned in our planning meeting that they were into sketching and drawing. This resulted in a plan to bring their sketch pad and pencil to the session and I am so glad we did! How fun is this to have some natural photos of sketching something out in the park! Showing off special interests and hobbies and the things that make seniors unique is my favorite thing to do during sessions! I couldn’t choose which I liked better to share here so I’m sharing both!
Gender Sexuality Alliance
Zoe is a natural leader and I could tell from their personality and out time together that they are going to create so much good in the world. They are the president of the Gender and Sexuality Alliance club at Granville High School. To represent their time and leadership in that initiative, the brought a poster for some of the photos. While the one on the steps turned out beautifully, I personally love the other one where they are wearing white and black against the rainbow of flowers in the background. Such a cool role to play as a high school student, and I’m so glad we found a way to document this in their senior pictures!
Zoe was truly a joy to photograph! Talking with their mom throughout that hour and also talking with Zoe about everything that is to come next after high school was so much fun. I hope these photos take them right back to this time in life and give them confidence in all that is ahead!
