Centerburg High School senior, Elizabeth, joined us for a senior portrait session in late Fall outdoors. The Centerburg Schools district is located just north of Columbus, Ohio, which gives those students the advantage of choosing from a ton of unique locations only miles away from home. Elizabeth started her senior portrait experience with complimentary professional hair and makeup from one of our top teams. It can be a relaxing way to start this special day and we had the most beautiful Fall weather for this Centerburg senior’s session after that!
Fall Senior Photos at Inniswood
Our first session location was Inniswood Metro Garden in Westerville. The leaves were absolutely gorgeous as they were just past peak at this time. We knew exactly where to go within the park to maximize the remaining color, and some of the spots were a little off the main pathways making them more unique compared to other seniors that use that park. Plus, with her classmates being in and around Centerburg, Ohio, there are probably less seniors from her school doing their senior portraits at this park.
Including a Family Member in Senior Pictures
Elizabeth’s session was a bit unique in that she included her sweet nephew in a few photos! He brought the energy you expect in little boys but most of all, he brought some real smiles out in everyone! One of the funniest moments was him unexpectedly throwing a pile of leaves on Elizabeth as they played. Thankfully, we got all the pieces out of her hair and continued on with our session with a focus on her after he left. Above are the colorful yellow leaves where they played, which also made a great Fall backdrop for senior portraits! And it wasn’t too far from Centerburg.
Softball Senior Pictures in a Park
While I have photographed seniors who play softball on their home softball field, this time we chose to highlight her time with the sport in a more casual way in the park rather than on a field at a place like Centerburg High School. Many athletes already have photos in their uniform, so it is fun to do something different! This dress was a favorite outfit for sure and I like the contrast between the dress and her sporty side with the equipment. Then we did some other super cute senior pictures by the evergreens before doing another outfit change.
Senior Pictures with Brick and Colorful Walls
After leaving Inniswood, we went into the State Street district of Westerville which is only about 20-30 minutes south of Centerburg. This location has so much variety in the color of brick and different structures. She started in a black top and jeans but quickly changed into a grey sweater which ended up being another favorite outfit!
This new look also came with a new hair style with some assistance from mom. We walked around several other spots before wrapping up her session so they could head to dinner.
